Three people were shot dead and multiple injured in a shooting at US city bar in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Three shot and killed at the Klymax Lounge in Kansas City, Missouri, early Sunday, police said.
Officers arriving at the scene just before 1:30 am local time found five people who’d been hit by gunfire, officials with Kansas City Police said in a statement.
“Three of the victims were transported by EMS to the hospital,” the statement said. “Two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. One of those victims was located outside the lounge and the second was located inside the business.”
One of the people who had been transported to the hospital later died, officials said.
One of the victims who was killed at the scene was inside the bar, while the second was outside the building, Kansas City Police Department Officer Donna Drake told ABC News.
The victims were all adults, police said, but their ages and identities were not immediately available.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators were at the scene early Sunday, police said.
