'These are my rockstars!' MAGA fans rejoice at CPAC and demand Trump 'closes the border'

MAGA fans were in high attendance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) near Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

Former President Donald Trump is expected to appear at the four-day event on Saturday, the same day as South Carolina’s crucial Republican primary.

His supporters made sure to show up in large numbers ahead of the contest, with five CPAC attendees in particular displaying real enthusiasm.

Five Trump voters from Beaumont, Texas, wore each letter of ‘Trump’ spelled out on their shirts to the event, with pants that read: “Trump Tribe of Texas.”

Lisa Wolf, who wore the letter ‘u,’ said exclusively to Daily Express US: “This is like my rock concert. I don’t have to go to a real rockstar concert, because for me, meeting the people that we meet, those are my rockstars.”

House Republicans have spent months investigating the secretary’s actions as they’ve aimed to make immigration and border security a key election issue.

Another hot topic among Republicans right now is Trump’s potential pick for vice president, after Trump himself touted a shortlist with at least half a dozen names this week – including Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy.

When asked who she would want as Trump’s VP, Wolf said: “I say whoever he chooses will be the right candidate. He knows what he’s looking for…We don’t care about gender or color, we want the best.”
