The seven words Daniel Khalife yelled at police officer after being yanked off bike

Daniel Khalife, who was arrested today after a four-day manhunt, desperately tried to protest his innocence when he was first confronted by a heroic police officer. Mr Khalife was dramatically pulled from a bicycle as he cycled along a canal towpath in west London. Witnesses told the MailOnline that the fugitive allegedly told the officer: “It’s not me! I haven’t done anything.”

This comes as more details emerge surrounding the dramatic arrest of the terror suspect.

Witnesses to the arrest, which took place in the Northolt area, said that a lone plain-clothes police officer waited until the 21-year-old fugitive was level with him before barging him off his bike.

The counter-terrorism officer cuffed Mr Khalife and held him down on the floor at gunpoint.

The witness reported that four more undercover police officers arrived within minutes of the arrest as the Metropolitan Police quickly swarmed the area.

The witness said: “It was obviously a well-planned operation and they must have been following him because the officer was lying in wait for him. It’s a relief that they finally have him.”
