The search is on once again for the UK's next children's prime minster


The Daily Express is on the hunt for the next interim prime minister of the Children’s Parliament.

More than 30 youngsters have applied but we want to hear from more.Any UK primary-school child between seven and 11 is eligible. Current holder Harry Acheampong, 12, is standing down because of his age.

The initiative honours MP Sir David Amess who was murdered in 2021.

It is backed by the Daily Express, online site Wakelet, Microsoft 365 and many MPs.
