Netflix will be releasing the first four episodes at midnight Pacific Standard Time in America on the day of release.

This is because the streamer is headquartered in California and in this time zone.

For those on the other side of America, this will be 3am Eastern Standard Time and also for those in Canada.

In the UK, this will be 8am GMT on the day of release, however, on the Continent, this will be 9am Central European Time.

Across Asia in India, this will be 1.30pm on the day of release.

For those Down Under, The Crown season six, part one arrives at 7pm in Australia.

Fans can binge all four episodes in one go but they will then have to wait a month until part two is released on Thursday, December 14.

The latter half of the season will feature the remaining six episodes, which are expected to drop at a similar time.

Part one will feature a ghostly apparition of Princess Diana (played by Elizabeth Debicki) after her tragic death in Paris.

While part two will look ahead to the next chapter of the Royal Family with Prince William (Ed McVey) and Kate Middleton’s (Meg Bellamy) blossoming romance.

Teasing part one, The Crown’s executive producer Suzanne Mackie said in an interview with Netflix: “So season six picks up where season five left off, in so far as we’re very much in the beginning of the Princess Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed story.

“So it’s post divorce. Camilla’s turning 50, Diana has retreated to the South of France and she’s on the yacht, on the Jonikal with Mohamed Al-Fayed and Dodi. And it’s the beginning of their love affair, and the beginning is tragically swiftly followed by the terrible accident. So it’s a painfully swift, but I hope, beautiful romance in the South of France.

“But from the second she steps onto that boat and some of those iconic images of her on the yacht, it does take you immediately to that place of the whirlwind that was the press speculation around that romance.

“And just the sort of crazy press attention and the insatiable appetite for everything she did at that time. The first three episodes cover a very short period of time.”
