Ted Kravitz accused of ‘supporting Mercedes' in awkward altercation on live TV

Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz was caught up in an awkward altercation with a young fan during his post-qualifying notebook segment, in which he was accused of being a Mercedes supporter.

Kravitz was discussing Mercedes’ disappointing start to the weekend, explaining that George Russell was slightly underwhelmed by his fourth-place grid position for Sunday’s race.

As he was doing so he came across a young fan who had managed to get a selfie with the Mercedes driver and Kravitz duly welcomed him in for a conversation live on air.

The Sky Sports reporter asked the fan whether or not he was successful in capturing the photo. When the youngster showed Kravitz his snaps, the 49-year-old then pointed out that he did so with a Ferrari cap on.
