Police have cordoned off a street in Stockport, near Manchester, and the bomb squad is on the scene after an incident.
Residents of Woodhall Crescent, beside Reddish Vale Country Park, have been ordered to stay indoors.
A large emergency services presence is also in the street, comprising of police, paramedics and fire crews.
