The SNP’s deputy leader in the House of Commons looked furious as Oliver Dowden brought up the fact that as they spoke, King Charles was being presented with the Scottish Crown Jewels in Edinburgh.
Mhairi Black looked disgusted as Mr Dowden jeeringly raised the point in the midst of a PMQs rife with personal attacks and jibes.
Ms Black made her position clear as the Tory deputy PM said: “I’m sure she will join me in celebrating King Charles receiving his Scottish regalia as we speak.”
The deputy PMs were standing in for their respective parties while party leaders attended a service to celebrate 75 years of the NHS in Westminster Abbey.
