Six children among 16 British holidaymakers injured in scary collision in French Alps

Six children were among 16 British holidaymakers injured in a car crash in the French alps on February 19. Local authorities say the accident was between a minibus and a 4×4 just outside the town of Albertvialle. Two adults were seriously injured.

The minibus was en route to Geneva airport carrying 11 people travelling home during the busy half-term skiing season.

The Times reported that officials said the 4×4 was travelling from the airport to Peisey-Vallandry in the La Plagne and Les Arcs resort areas when the accident occurred.

In a statement, a police spokesman said: “One of the vehicles clearly left its side of the road, but we don’t know which one yet.”
