Shock poll reveals public want four Royal Family members cut from line of succession

For instance, neither Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie appeared on the royal balcony for Trooping the Colour in June this year, with just 14 family members waving to crowds below.

The late Queen’s granddaughters have jobs outside of the Royal Family and do not receive income from the Sovereign Grant.

On Sarah Ferguson’s podcast, Tea Talk, she has often spoken about her daughters and praised them both as “great working mothers”.

Beatrice and her sister are claimed to have the “best of both worlds” according to Rachel Andrews, co-host of Keeping Up With The Windsors podcast, by being part of the Firm but also enjoying time out of the limelight. They have both been pictured in the occasional paparazzi shots, at social events.

Beatrice, who works as a business consultant, has a daughter and stepson with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Eugenie, who is the associate director of an art gallery in London, has two sons with her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The Deltapoll survey, commissioned by MailOnline also showed the public think the princesses’ father should also be omitted.

Around 77 percent of those questioned said they would omit Prince Andrew, who was removed from royal duties in January 2022, following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Whereas, 61 percent of those questioned, suggested Prince Harry should also be removed.

Those royals winning the succession popularity contest, included Princess Kate, with around 70 percent of people happy that one day she will be Queen Consort to the now Prince William.

The majority of those questioned think both the Prince and Princess of Wales should stay in the line of succession, with three-quarters of people believing Prince William should take to the throne after his father.

The poll quizzed 2,009 British adults online between September 1-4, 2023.
