Royal fans all saying the same thing as Princess Anne dazzles on walkabout

Princess Anne drew comparisons to her beloved late mother Queen Elizabeth as she was snapped while out-and-about meeting people during her latest royal engagement.

The Princess Royal was visiting Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire, on Wednesday, to celebrate it becoming the first of its kind to achieve UNESCO status, and she even had the opportunity to operate the Lovell Telescope herself.

She then undertook an engagement close to her heart, as she opened Riding for the Disabled’s (RDA) new facilities at Reaseheath Equestrian College.

Princess Anne is a former professional equestrian and Olympian and as patron of RDA she was no doubt thrilled to spend time with horses and fellow horse lovers alike.

One royal fan shared a picture of the Princess in her village, tweeting: “The fabulous Princess Anne paid a visit to our little village today. No fuss, no drama, just good old fashioned duty. She is just wonderful.”

Royal devotees were quick to gush over her in the comments, with one replying: “Absolutely love her. She would have made a wonderful Queen.”

Another added: “She is one of the most hardworking Royals out there without any fuss” and a third pointed out: “She’s a wonderful no nonsense lady, a credit to the RF [Royal Family].”

Her similarity to the late Queen was also noted, with one person saying: “And so like her mum, even if she wouldn’t like to admit it”, with another agreeing: “She’s wonderful!! I wish she’d been our Queen after Elizabeth the Great , her marvellous and elegant mother.”
