Sarah Ferguson has revealed the Royal Family’s ideal way to bond as Prince Andrew’s ex-wife disclosed the Firm love few things more more than a game of Scrabble.

The Duchess of York told listeners of her podcast Tea Talks that it ranks among their favourite ways to unwind behind the walls of Buckingham Palace.

She also told her co-host and friend Sarah Thomson that the Firm are a “very united” family. Fergie was speaking on a show dedicated to “play, trains and board games at the palace”.

Her Scrabble revelatioon came after one listener asked the hosts if it was true that the late Queen didn’t like Monopoly because of the arguments it can spark.

The 63-year-old, who is currently recovering from breast cancer surgery, also said that the Firm are very fond of completing jigsaws.

Fergie said that the Royal Family “love to do what other families do and that’s lovely”.

But Queen Elizabeth II’s true feelings towards Monopoly remain a mystery, as the Duchess would not reveal whether she disliked the money-oriented classic.

And she neither confirmed nor denied that Britain’s most famous family gather round for a game of Ibble Dibble, which was seen being played in Netflix drama The Crown.

The Duchess of York did however say that the Royal Family also like playing card games, although she did not specify which ones.
