Princess Kate is “braced” for even more bombshells from Meghan Markle in her new memoir but she won’t fight back, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex is rumoured to be writing her own autobiography.
Meghan’s move has been branded a “huge money spinner” while experts said the book will be “more powerful” than Prince’s Harry’s Spare as it is said to include lots of details about how “badly she was treated as a royal”.
And now a royal expert suggested it will be the Princess of Wales who would be targeted the most in the new book.
Royal commentator Phil Dampier said that Meghan’s book will outsell Harry’s and billed it as the “ideal opportunity” for her to talk about “what happened to her when she met Harry, fell in love, joined the most famous family in the world and then left.”
The expert added that while Princess Kate may be in the firing line, she will not “hit back” at the revelations.
Dampier explained to the Sun: Everyone will be fascinated to hear Meghan’s take on her relationship with Kate, whether she was hostile or welcomed her from the start. She will probably talk about comparisons that were made in the press between them and will come across as bitter.
“The royals will assume the worst and brace themselves for more revelations. It would only make the relations much worse, but I still don’t think the royals will hit back. They will stay quiet and soak it up, even though they will be deeply hurt by it.”
The expert suggested Meghan’s book would be the “last straw” and erase any hope of reconciliation between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with Prince William and Princess Kate.
