Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry's new charm offensive with 'big tonal shift'

Prince Harry’s change of tact this week during his new bombshell interview has raised eyebrows as a royal commentator claimed he’s initiated a”big tonal shift”.

The Duke of Sussex appeared on Good Morning America on Friday where he gave an emotional interview about his father, King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, declaring: “I love my family.”

Now royal expert Daniela Elser noted Harry’s changed approach and said that “gone was the barely-concealed, just-below-the-surface, coiled animosity of that Harry, a righteous truth-wielding warrior taking on The Firm and the British press, and instead we got Harry, the good-natured, cheery bloke.”

She wrote on news.com.au: “Now we have a “grateful” duke talking about ‘loving’ his family, a far cry from the 2023 version who talked about seeing “red mist” in William when his brother allegedly attacked him in his London kitchen.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle travelled to Canada earlier this week to mark the one-year countdown to the 2025 Invictus Games and since Wednesday, they have brushed any criticism they have received recently to the side and vowed: “We won’t be broken”.
