Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been urged to “just stop” over reports the couple are seeking to pursue more projects in the New Year. TalkTV presenter Emma Woolf told viewers: “Somebody just make them stop. May I humbly suggest that this year of redemption that they’re seeking could begin with a year of reflection and silence.
“They could give King Charles a break. They could give us a break. They could give themselves a break. They could go off. They could enjoy the sunshine in Montecito, or in Hollywood or wherever they end up. They could enjoy their millions of dollars. They could enjoy their acting career and they could just give us a break.”
Ms Woolf’s comments came after a US magazine cited a source reportedly close to the couple who said Harry and Meghan want a year of “redemption”.
This year saw Harry’s memoir Spare rock the Royal Family with a series of allegations as well as Meghan’s Spotify deal coming to an end early. The Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation also saw a multi-million dollar drop in donations.
