Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned that “drama follows them” wherever they go, leading to them not being invited to a friend’s wedding, according to US-based royal expert Kinsey Schofield.
The Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor, is set to marry his partner Olivia Henson next June, and although he is close friends with both Harry and Prince William, the Sussexes have not received an invite to the ceremony.
Mr Grosvenor is godfather to both Prince George and Prince Archie, but it seems his loyalties lie with the royals as Ms Schofield noted that the publication of Omid Scobie’s Endgame has only made them appear more “toxic”.
Although Harry and Meghan have not publicly admitted any affiliation towards the book, the expert pointed out that their “fingerprints were all over” the first release co-authored by Mr Scobie, 2020’s Finding Freedom.
She added that it is likely the Duke and future Duchess of Westminster did not want any added drama or attention distracting from their special day.
Sources from the Sussex camp have stated that Harry and Meghan did receive an invite to the wedding, but have decided not to attend.
