Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'can't find new act' after US 'nosedive'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have to find a “new act” to prop up their finances but have “nothing more to deliver” which would appeal to the public, a royal commentator has claimed. Biographer Tom Bower has claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex face financial difficulties in the US after the couple “trashed” the Royal Family.

Mr Bower told Talk TV: “Their problem is all they can offer the American public is to trash the Royal Family. Their real problem now is they’ve got to find a new act. They’ve got nothing to deliver other than themselves.”

He agreed that Harry and Meghan’s dream of starting a new life in the US after stepping down from royal duties has “unravelled spectacularly”. Mr Bower claimed the couple can “see the end of the road” approaching and cannot find more sources of income to sustain their security, mortgages and lifestyle.

The author of Revenge: Harry, Meghan and the War Between the Windsors, claimed the Sussexes have lost credibility after aiming a slew of allegations at the Royal Family in their Netflix series, in the prince’s memoir, Spare, and in their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In response to Meghan’s former TV drama Suits being one of Netflix’s most streamed shows, Mr Bower said her acting career ended before she married Prince Harry. He added the “only thing” she has left, which could generate more income, is her autobiography.
