Kate, Princess of Wales is the target of an “obscene” joke in a new Amazon Prime drama – with royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams condemning the decision to include the attack on the former duchess as “surreal” and “extraordinary”.
During the six-part crime series, Citadel, a crime boss compares breaking into an office to getting “between the legs of the Duchess of Cambridge”.
He told The Sun: “It is absolutely surreal that anybody would stoop to obscene comments.
“It’s quite extraordinary.
“I think it’s shocking. Amazon must explain what obscenities to real people, to members of the royal family, are doing in their film.”
