Meghan Markle reportedly wants to try and end a bitter feud which has raged between her and senior members of the Royal Family for the sake of her children. Sources have said that Meghan, 41, wants to make sure there are no more rifts that will disrupt the family’s harmony.
According to Page Six, a source close to Meghan said she “wants her children to know their grandfather” as they won’t have a close relationship with her estranged father, Thomas Markle.
The source added that Meghan “does hope they will meet and hopes her decision will be seen as an unselfish one, as it was best to keep the attention on His Majesty. She just doesn’t want a song and dance and everything being lived out in the public eye”.
Meghan’s reported decision to improve relations with senior royals comes days after it was announced that she would not attend King Charles III’s Coronation on May 6. Instead, Prince Harry, 38, will make a solo visit before returning to the USA.
