Meghan Markle will “not come” back to the UK to join her husband, Prince Harry, for an Invictus Games event next month, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex is set to return to his home country as he is expected to speak at the Invictus Games 10th Anniversary Service, which will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8 where Harry is listed as a guest in the official running of the service, despite the trip not being officially confirmed.
And while Meghan’s appearance at the event was marked as a TBC (to be confirmed), people were questioning whether the duchess would make a grand return to Harry’s home country.
Meghan last visited the UK in 2022 for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. Journalist Afua Hagan told Talk TV: “I don’t think she’ll come. I really don’t think she’ll come as she’s really not interested in being tabloid fodder. I mean she’s tabloid fodder anyway, whether she’s here or not.”
