Royal Family LIVE: Meghan Markle spotted wearing anti-stress patch on solo outing

Meghan Markle has been spotted wearing a $4 (£3.15) anti-stress patch as she was captured out-and-about in California.

With Prince Harry currently in Asia, Meghan was spotted solo – although with a bodyguard not too far away.

Despite the current pleasant weather in California, the 41-year-old cosied up in a camel-coloured heavy wool, paired with a patterned scarf.

The Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing the notable NuCalm anti-stress patch on her left wrist, and is said to provide a sense of calmness, as well as “resonance and frequencies”.

Users of the patch are instructed to wear only on their left wrist and to place it three-finger lengths away from the wrist.

Although it is unclear why Meghan was sporting the patch, she has faced a considerable amount of criticism and setbacks in recent months.

Last month, it was announced that Meghan and Harry’s deal with Spotify had come to a mutual end.

The platform was the place where Meghan had released her dozen-episode podcast series – and with the end of the deal, came the end of her podcast.

Similarly Meghan and Harry’s deal with Netflix, although still intact, has been plagued by various setbacks.

Last year, Meghan’s animated series, which was part of the deal, was axed in pre-production.
