Lady Louise Windsor has been tipped as the key to boosting the Royal Family’s working dynamic. The young royal, 19, recently started at university, but, despite keeping a low profile, has remained a highly popular member of the Firm. Her recent Coronation appearances have helped build her public image, with royal experts now convinced she can help modernise the “ageing family”. One commentator has said she can solve an “impending crisis”.
Writing on Royal Central, Charlie Proctor, the site’s editor-in-chief, noted that the vast majority of working royals – seven of 11 – are older than 70.
He warned that the royals Britons cannot expect the royals to “carry on forever”, and suggested “bringing some younger royals” on board to avoid a crisis in the royal ranks.
Lady Louise, the expert said, was the “perfect” addition to the roster, and the “ideal candidate to take up royal duties”.
He added that “nobody has a bad word to say” about the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who is “empathetic, scandal-free and popular”.
And he concluded: “Lady Louise would be the perfect person to take up royal duties, assisting with the workload.”
