Royal Family LIVE: King Charles's grave warning over 'bringing in remote royals'

King Charles bringing in more remote members to bolster the Royal Family such as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie could be a risk if they are still close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a royal commentator claims.

Angela Levin warned fringe members of the Royal Family stepping up to carry out official duties while the monarch and Princess Kate are out of action due to their health scares runs the risk of leaks.

She told GB News: “I think it’s something that is okay in theory but in practice is quite hard. Can you trust people not to say too many things to the people in America [Meghan and Harry]?

“They have to be very careful because they don’t want anything leaked that will cause any more problems.”

The King’s slimmed down monarchy only has four working royals under the age of 65, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

Other working royals include Princess Anne, known for her no-nonsense hard-working approach, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, but the latter two have appeared increasingly frail in recent times.

Queen Camilla is still carrying out engagements while King Charles receives hosptial treatment for an enlarged prostate and Princess Kate recovers from surgery at The London Clinic.
