Royal Family LIVE: Harry wants to be 'Prince of America' after move to snub UK

Prince Harry wants to be “Prince of America” after official residence documents show subtle snub to the UK, slams one US-based royal expert.

After taking a look at documents showing that the Duke of Sussex is now an official resident in the US, many have noticed that his official ‘date of move’ is listed as the day that the couple were officially evicted from Frogmore Cottage – their previous home in Windsor. This date is listed as April 15, 2023.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield spoke of Harry’s interview with Good Morning America earlier this year, in which he said about what “difference it would make” if he were to become an official citizen in the US.

The expert told TalkTV: “…it was how defiantly he replied to that statement, he told Good Morning America in February that he considered becoming a US citizen but it wasn’t a top priority.

“So while it is a change of address on the documentation, the reality is [that] he still wants to title and wants to be considered the Duke of Sussex, the ‘Prince of America’ is the reality of it all.”

Speaking of the specific date chosen, Ms Schofield said: “Well I do agree with other commentators that the date is significant. This is, you know, another Prince Harry hissy-fit because if Prince Harry wanted to be a citizen of the United States, he could certainly go through the proper channels but I don’t think he wants to.”
