Royal Family fans in tears at moment Louis's face lights up during Kate's carol service

Royal fans were left amazed by a heartwarming Prince Louis moment at Princess Kate’s Carol service. A glimpse of the young prince at the service has left social media users gushing over his cuteness.

Members of the Royal Family are at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk for the festivities, while Princess Kate’s carol service – which was filmed weeks ago – aired on ITV on Christmas Eve.

But fans of the Firm were stunned by an adorable moment when Prince Louis reacted to a special celebrity guest.

One fan wrote: “It is heartwarming to see the children there seeing Jim Broadbent from Paddington responding to him. Little Prince Louis & others smiling.”

A second added: “So cute the way Prince Louis’s face lit up when Jim Broadbent did his reading of Letters from Father Christmas from J.R.R.Tolkien!”

A third chimed in: “Prince Louis being an absolute icon again.”

Princess Kate revisited Westminster Abbey to preside over a distinctive Christmas carol service broadcast on Christmas Eve.

This year’s rendition of the carol service emphasizes the significance of early childhood and expresses gratitude to those aiding the youngest members of society during their formative years, aligning with the Shaping Us campaign.

In the course of the concert, acclaimed actor Jim Broadbent recited a passage from The Father Christmas Letters by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. Prince Louis was spotted eagerly pointing and smiling at the 74-year-old Jim during the reading.

In her message introducing the carol service, the Princess of Wales said: “Christmas is a time when we come together and celebrate the birth of a newborn baby. The arrival of every baby is a precious and momentous time, it brings us together to reflect on new beginnings and brings hope for the future.

“Throughout our earliest interactions, relationships and experiences, with those who love us, even before we are born, we lay the foundations to so much of what that future will depend on. But only by valuing and supporting the vital role of the adults in a child’s world can we hope to make a difference.”
