Roy Keane calls Karen Carney a 'spoilsport' after Chelsea told off in Aston Villa cup win

There had been some question marks about Fernandez’s commitment to the club amid transfer links away from Stamford Bridge, but his emphatic celebration showcased just how dedicated he is to returning Chelsea back among Europe’s elite.

His agent Uriel Perez vehemently rejected claims that the 23-year-old wants to leave the Blues. “The player has no intention to leave,” he told Spanish outlet AS. “The club’s leaders were very clear with this project. [They said] it’s a plan that was going to cost at first because new and young players were going to arrive, but when the team matches all the pieces together, Chelsea was going to get ahead…

“Enzo’s desire is to be on the team and succeed. We haven’t met or tried to talk with any club. We know what the player’s desire is. Obviously he’d like the club to be in another position, but that will be achieved with hard work.”
