Rose Hanbury lives in £112million house – three miles from Princess Kate's Norfolk home

The State Bedroom, which features the renowned Shell bed, is decorated with silver gilt embroidery and fringe on green velvet, which was at the time the most expensive material.

On the opposite side of the house, the dining room, or Marble Parlour, has bunches of grapes and vine leaves carved above the doors, on the marble chimneypiece, and on the plaster ceilings.

Walpole spent a lot of money decorating these rooms, even though he only visited Norfolk twice a year and they were rarely utilised.

In June 2009, David and Rose announced their engagement. The next day, they shared they were expecting a child, and a day later, they wed at Chelsea Town Hall.
