Ronnie O'Sullivan's dad fumes at Barry Hearn and snooker 'Gestapo' in X-rated Masters rant

Ronnie O’Sullivan’s father, O’Sullivan senior, has hit out at the World Snooker Tour (WST) and Alexandra Palace in an astonishing social media rant. His son blasted the tournament’s venue this week as he claimed that it was “dirty” and “cold”, prompting the WST to respond and show their support for Ally Pally.

O’Sullivan doubled down on his comments after his semi-final 6-2 win over Shaun Murphy on Saturday, while his father also took to X (formerly known as Twitter) in a fiery rant aimed at those in charge.

“The ally pally needs fumigating,” O’Sullivan Snr wrote before the semi-finals. “Flies and wasps every where. It’s that bad. Players dressing rooms close to the bins. Nice. Big thank you to Barry earner (sic) and the rest of the WST Gestapo.”

After the victory over Murphy, he continued his rant at snooker’s chiefs: “By the time you send an email to the WST snooker Gestapo about your concerns about the wasp and fly infestation the fcking tournament is over. So wats the point ????

“Ronnie in one particular tournament waved at one of his friends beckoning him to come down to the arena with his finger next to his thumb. The snooker official raced into the tournament office saying Ronnie made a rude gesture. The official was telling the camera crew to view it. They were not filming at the time. But the point im making is how sad are these certain people that work for WST world snooker tour.

“Snooker is hard enough to play without these muppets in the back ground looking for absolutely anything to try and create a bad vibe and toxic atmosphere. F*** em all of em including the Gestapo that run the WST snooker.”
