Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Ali Carter LIVE: Masters final score updates as the Rocket eyes title

Ronnie O’Sullivan can create history by becoming the oldest Masters winner of all time if he beats Ali Carter at Ally Pally today. The 48-year-old lifted the first of his seven Masters titles in 1995 – which itself is also a record.

However, the Rocket claims he is not bothered about trying to create history when he clashes with Carter.

“Nah I’m not really buzzed by that. I just enjoy my time, I’ve got a good schedule, I like playing the events I play,” O’Sullivan told the BBC.

“It’s a job at the end of the day, it’s a business. I’ve tried to think of other things to do, looking into it and thought maybe not. I’m just trying to find some sort of enjoyment in this.

“I’m not really chasing records. I’ve got them all, so I’m not chasing them. I’m not bothered about numbers, I’m more bothered about just trying to enjoy it. It’s hard thought.”
