Rishi Sunak slaps down Keir Starmer for taking knee in PMQs row: 'He doesn't get Britain!'

Rishi Sunak delivered a brutal slapdown to Sir Keir Starmer during Prime Minister’s Questions today.

The Prime Minister hit out at the Labour leader for taking the knee, previously calling to abolish the Royal Family and for claiming women can have a penis.

Mr Sunak was responding to a question from Sir Keir who asked about Sir Simon Clarke’s call for him to be replaced as Tory leader.

The Labour leader said: “So was he surprised to see one of his own MPs say that he doesn’t get what Britain needs and he’s not listening to what people want?”

Mr Sunak replied: “He talks about what Britain needs, what Britain wants, what Britain values. This from a man who takes the knee, who wanted to abolish the monarchy, who still doesn’t know what a woman is, and who just this week one of his frontbenchers said they’d back teaching divisive white privilege in our schools.

“Looking at his record it’s crystal clear which one of us doesn’t get Britain’s values.”
