Reform UK overwhelmingly backed for success at next general election in new poll boost

Reform UK is in with a chance at the next general election, according to a poll of Express readers.

Some 80 per cent of respondents to the survey on this website said the insurgent party has a shot when the country goes to the polls.

Some 18 per cent said no, while two per cent did not know.

More than 11,000 people had voted in the online poll as of this morning.

It comes as Reform UK leader Richard Tice has vowed to stand candidates in every seat in Great Britain at the next election, which must happen by January 2025.

The right-wing party has hit a record high of 13 per cent in opinion polls this week.

There is intense speculation that Nigel Farage, who is currently honorary president, could return as leader which would likely provide a major boost.

Reform UK is expected to pose a major threat to the Tories at the upcoming general election.

Businessman Mr Tice has ruled out any pacts with Rishi Sunak’s party.

Speaking at a press conference earlier this month, he said: “You’ve all broken Britain, you’re all responsible, so there’s no special deals, we stand in every single seat in England, Scotland and Wales.”

But the Prime Minister has warned a vote for Reform UK will only help put Sir Keir in Downing Street.
