Just last week, Camilla carried out her first royal engagement for the year, visiting Aberdeen Art Gallery to open a Safe Space.
It was there that she commented on the King’s health, saying: “He’s fine, thank you very much. Looking forward to getting back to work.”
Buckingham Palace released a statement regarding Charles’s enlarged prostate and the upcoming surgery, but this was the first time a member of the Royal Family spoke about his health concerns publicly.
