Queen Camilla’s grandsons and great nephew given same role as Prince George at Coronation

Fresh details of King Charles’s Coronation next month have been released by the Palace, with officials confirming that four of Queen Camilla’s relatives will play a leading role at the historic event. Her three grandsons and great-nephew have all been named as one of the eight Pages of Honour. The King’s eldest grandson Prince George has also made the list.

Prince George is among four youngsters who will attend to the King on the day, while Camilla’s relatives will attend to her.

This includes her three grandsons, Master Gus and Master Louis Lopes and Master Freddy Parker Bowles.

Gus and Louis are the 13-year-old twins of Camilla’s daughter, Laura Lopes, and Freddy, 13, is the son of the Queen’s son Tom Parker Bowles.

Camilla’s great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot, 10, makes up the final Page to the Queen Consort.

The eight Pages, all of whom are either friends or close relatives of the monarch, will form part of the procession through the Nave of Westminster Abbey.

They will also be expected to carry the robes of prominent figures during the day.

Prince George will be joined by Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay and Master Ralph Tollemache.

Lord Oliver Cholmondeley is the son of Prince William’s close friend the Marquess of Cholmondeley.

He is 13 and has a twin brother Alexander, Earl of Rocksavage, who as the elder twin stands to inherit the Cholmondeley peerage and the family seat of Houghton Hall in Norfolk.

Nicholas Barclay, 13, is the grandson of Sarah Troughton, the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, who is one of the Queen’s Companions.

Master Ralph Tollemach, 12, is the eldest grandson of Baron Tollemache of Helmingham Hall, Suffolk.

The Palace has also confirmed that Her Majesty will officially be known as Queen from the Coronation.

Queen Camilla has been used on the official Coronation invite, a picture of which has just been released.

The text of the invite reads: “The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III & Queen Camilla – By Command of the King the Earl Marshall is directed to invite…to be present at the Abbey Church of Westminster on 6th day of May 2023.”
