Queen Camilla stuns in blue tunic and trouser combo for Kenyan state banquet tonight

Queen Camilla and King Charles have arrived at State House in Kenya for a banquet held for their state visit, with the Queen stunning onlookers in her exquisite blue Anna Valentine tunic top with complimenting palazzo trousers.

Camilla accessorised her outfit with a diamond elephant bracelet and a Van Cleef & Arpels necklace which was once her grandmother’s.

President Ruto is hosting the dinner for Their Majesties, as well as other esteemed guests from Kenya and the United Kingdom, with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip also similarly honoured during their royal tour to the country in 1983.

Upon arrival Charles and Camilla will be received by the President and his wife, First Lady Rachel Ruto, before meeting other guests at a short reception ahead of taking their seats at the High Table.

Both the Kenya and British national anthems will be played before the start of the banquet, with the Archbishop and Primate of Kenya, Jackson Ole Sapit and Chief Kadhi of Kenya, Athman Abdulhalim Hussein delivering the Opening Prayer.

Kenyan President Ruto and King Charles will address the assembled guests during the meal.

It is expected that at some point during his trip the King will address the legacy of British colonialism in Kenya, in particular the Mau Mau rebellion that took place between 1952-1960.

Earlier in the day Charles was pictured wiping away a tear while laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior at Uhuru Gardens.

He later visited the site of Kenyan independence, the Mugumo tree, where the Union Flag was brought down in 1963.
