Queen Camilla 'modelled herself' on late Queen at Coronation, body language guru claims

Queen Camilla “modelled herself on the late Queen Elizabeth” for the Coronation Day as she attempts to win the hearts of the British people, according to a body language expert. Following the Coronation, Darren Stanton said the new Queen is taking on “similar emotions and gestures” to her mother-in-law and is supporting the King as his “strength and stay”.

Mr Stanton, known as the Human Lie Detector after years of experience of getting lying criminals to crack in police interviews, said on behalf of Betfair Bingo: “Having analysed Camilla’s character traits and body language for many years, there has been a steady increase in her characteristics, which we can now attribute to Queen Elizabeth.

“I think Camilla always had a great deal of respect for the Queen and it’s rumoured that the pair got on very well.

“I believe Camilla has very much emulated the Queen since taking on the Queen Consort role herself. She has become King Charles’ rock, which is what Prince Philip was to the Queen.”

Mr Stanton also noted Queen Camilla’s adherence to royal protocol, in a similar vein to the late Queen.

He said: “Camilla is generally very conscious over how she comes over on camera. While Kate Middleton and Prince William have a happy-go-lucky attitude, with lots of displays of affection, Camilla adheres to the royal protocols that the Queen once did.

“For example, she will only wear certain dresses and jewellery in public and displays certain emotions. She comes across as very controlled. When it comes to her non-verbal behaviours, she often makes certain gestures and animations with her hands that are similar to the Queen.

“From my analysis, it appears Camilla has attempted to model herself on the Queen, and be the best Queen that she can be to King Charles.”

The 75-year-old has also grown in confidence, according to behavioural expert Mr Stanton.

He said: “Like most people in a new job or role, it takes time to adjust. After joining the Royal family, it was important to Camilla how she was perceived by the public, and moreover, immediate family like Prince William and Harry.

“Initially she was quite an unconfident person, however, as time has gone on, she has gained a lot more self reassurance within herself. While this hasn’t happened overnight, I do believe Camilla now feels accepted as Charles’ wife and love.”

He said she has now “earned” seniority in the Royal household.

“Since taking on the Queen Consort role, she has developed into an all-round person, based on decades of being around the Royal family.

“She now feels she has earned the right to be a senior member of the family. In recent years, Camilla has developed more individuality. She’s very much her own person, whilst also adhering to the respect and traditions of the Queen.”

Not only does Camilla share comparisons with Britain’s recently departed monarch, he said she is also in a “similar” position to the Princess of Wales, Kate.

Mr Stanton noted: “As well as Charles, Camilla also appears to have a great relationship with Kate Middleton. They are very much in similar positions, supporting the most senior members of the Royal family.

“Whilst out in public together, the pair appear to get on well and have struck a good friendship. I definitely believe Camilla wants to have the same relationship with Kate, as she did with the Queen.
