Putin sends nuclear warships to the Arctic for first time in 30 years as major warning


Russia has sent nuclear-capable warships to the Arctic for the first time in 30 years, Norway has warned. The nordic intelligence report stated that the tactical nuclear weapon-armed vessels were deployed in the Baltic sea.

Norway announced in its intelligence report: “The key part of the nuclear potential is on the submarines and surface ships of the Northern Fleet.

“The importance of nuclear weapons for Russia has increased significantly since the start of the war in Ukraine.”

The Kremlin also sent two Tu-95MS near US airspace for more than seven hours.

They were paired with Su-30 fighter jets from Russia’s Eastern Military District.
