Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has opened up on his fears of a potential ISIS attack at this week’s Champions League matches. Terrorists have threatened to target Tuesday and Wednesday’s European clashes, which includes the Ligue 1 champions taking on Barcelona.
A chilling poster with each of the four stadiums hosting Champions League matches with the message “kill them all” was released by the Al Azaim Foundation, the media outlet Islamic State uses to spread its hateful messages prompted heightened security measures.
A spokesman for European football’s governing body (UEFA) confirmed the games would still be going ahead, saying: “UEFA is aware of alleged terrorist threats made towards this week’s UEFA Champions League matches and is closely liaising with the authorities at the respective venues. All matches are planned to go ahead as scheduled with appropriate security arrangements in place.”
But that has not stopped from many fretting over attending matches in London, Paris and Madrid to cheer on their team. That includes Enrique, who is preparing to get one over his former team Barcelona and take a lead back to Spain next week.

Enrique revealed that he is “concerned” and “worried” at the idea that those inside the Parc de Princes could be at risk on Wednesday.
In his Tuesday press conference, the Spaniard said: “Who isn’t concerned? Everyone is worried. I hope we can control it and that they just remain threats and nothing happens.”
