Prison officer fired after fighting on camera while wearing uniform shirt

A US prison officer has been fired after she was caught on camera in the midst of an all-out brawl while wearing an “FCSO” (Fulton County Sheriff’s Office) T-shirt, officials say.

WSB-TV is reporting that 30-year-old Shainiqua Bodden was fired from her position in Atlanta, Georgia as of Tuesday (October 9) for the fight.

Surveillance footage revealed that Bodden and another woman were getting into it on Forsyth Street in a very busy part of the city. When the brawl got out of hand, Bodden called 911.

Police officers then arrived, where Bodden revealed that she’d had an order of protection against the woman she was fighting.

Bodden produced paperwork and told the officers that she’d appeared with other policemen to serve the protection order paperwork on the woman, which is when the other woman took out her phone and began recording Bodden, reportedly becoming aggressive in the process.

The woman took the paperwork and spat on Bodden, who allegedly returned the favor, thus sparking a fight.

Both women were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct

Bodden is the fourth such officer to be terminated from her position this year.
