Princess Kate's 'two veg' breakfast which keeps her looking and feeling great

Princess Kate is believed to enjoy the same healthy breakfast each day, consisting of two vegetables and plenty of protein and carbs to get her morning off to a great start.

Hair experts at Longevita have suggested that the royal enjoys oats every morning, which are high in protein, fibre and carbohydrates.

This is thought to be followed by a breakfast drink packed with nutrients and vitamins, including ingredients such as kale, spirulina and spinach.

Eating porridge helps to release energy slowly and avoid the mid-morning sugary snack cravings, although the Princess reportedly loves goji berries and other fruits for a healthier snack alternative.

Watermelon salad with feta, avocado and cucumber is another of Kate’s favourites for a tasty and healthy lunch.

Her favourite foods and snacks are full of nutrients to encourage hair growth and keep her famous brunette locks long, shiny and healthy.

For dinner the Princess might prepare vegetable kebabs or a tasty curry, as she reportedly craved lentil curry during her pregnancies.

While in Birmingham with Prince William for a World Mental Health Day event earlier this month, Kate made it known she can handle a spicy curry, unlike her husband who prefers it milder.

When it comes to preparing health food Kate loves to get her children involved, and it seems Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis enjoy cooking at home too.

During one royal visit the Princess shared how her children make cheesy pasta, as Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, reportedly said: “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her.

“They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”

Another family favourite is pizza, a taste shared by King Charles, whereas Queen Camilla prefers a traditional fish and chips as her takeaway of choice.

The Princess of Wales is also well-known for her sporty streak, having played hockey in school and regularly goes swimming or takes to the tennis courts for a game.

Her exercise routine is said to include running, spinning, yoga, weight training and HIIT (high-intensity interval training) among others.

Yoga is also a favourite of Meghan Markle’s, who was introduced to the practice at a young age as her mother Doria Ragland is an instructor.
