Aside from being mothers, they share a similar taste in fashion as they were both seen wearing designers such as Emilia Wickstead, Erdem and Jenny Packham.

Mary has been a great advocate for health, gender equality, and the empowerment of women and girls.

In 2007, she established the Mary Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of vulnerable women and children through support in taking their next step in life without violence.

Kate on the other hand has been passionately promoting the importance of mental health whilst also focusing on children’s support in their early years.

In 2021, she launched the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

Both the British and the Danish royal families are quite close as the late Queen Elizabeth II was a third cousin to Queen Margrethe.

Meanwhile, Kate also shares a close bond with two other European royals.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband, Prince Daniel were among those invited to Kate and William’s wedding in 2011.
