Princess Kate touching tribute to husband Prince William at Remembrance Sunday Service

But it was Kate’s hat that stole the show and was a sweet tribute to her husband.

The garment was designed by royal favourite Philip Treacy and features a black velvet bow.

This was not the first time the Princess of Wales had worn this hat as she was first seen sporting it in 2006.

At the time the princess wore it to attend her future husband’s passing out parade at Sandhurst.

It was the first public appearance of her as William’s girlfriend.

Now, 17 years later the mother of three wore the same hat again to watch her husband lay a wreath at the Cenotaph this morning.
