Princess Kate 'on the mend' as she leaves Windsor for first time abdominal surgery


Princess Kate has left Windsor for the first time after returning home from the London Clinic following planned abdominal surgery.

The Princess of Wales is reportedly improving since returning home to the Windsor Estate after a two-week stay at the London clinic, where she underwent planned abdominal surgery last month, MailOnline reports.

In what appears to be a marked improvement in Prince William’s wife’s condition, she left Windsor for the first time yesterday mrning alongside her husband and three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – for a half-term holiday in the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where King Charles and Queen Camilla are currently residing.

A source told the MailOnline: “Catherine is recovering well. She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William.”
