Princess Kate is not making any late-night phone calls to Prince Harry in an attempt to mend his relationship with Prince William, a royal commentator has said.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have become gradually more and more distant from his family, particularly his older brother, after a a turbulent few years which saw the Sussexes leave royal life behind and set up home in California.
The couple have shared their more negative experiences of being royal through interviews, their Netflix series and Harry’s memoir Spare, in which he alleged William physically attacked him during arguments, and that he and Kate did not warm to Meghan.
Despite claims that Kate had been trying to contact Harry, Kinsey Schofield has blasted these rumours as completely untrue in an interview with Fox News.
She said: “My contacts at Kensington Palace have told me that this story has no truth to it…The Princess of Wales is not making late-night calls to Prince Harry.

“A significant amount of William’s unhappiness toward Harry revolves around Harry and Meghan discussing Catherine so openly to Oprah and within Spare
“Catherine is very respectful of Prince William’s feelings and wouldn’t go behind his back to execute anything.”
She added: “William and Catherine do not receive regular updates on Harry and Meghan, so Kate would not be aware of any difficulties Harry was having to advise him to keep his chin up.”
Another insider has claimed that Kate blames Meghan for the frostiness between Harry and William, and feels terrible that the Duke has fallen out so dramatically with his family.
The insider said: “Kate feels terrible that the royals and Harry are at this current impasse with so little contact between them.”
They added: “She blames Meghan for it almost entirely and the longer it goes on the more it upsets and frustrates her.”
However, this has apparently left the Duchess furious as she herself has no desire to interfere in anybody’s relationship, the source added.
They told Heat magazine: “Kate’s let it be known to the Palace aides who still speak to the Sussexes that she thinks it’s an extremely poor show the way Harry’s being treated.
“But Meghan is furious and thinks Kate has no right getting involved in her marriage. She would never dream of interfering between her and William.”
