Princess Kate makes common mistake while school shopping for George and Charlotte

Princess Kate once made a common mistake most parents make when she was out shopping with ther two eldest children, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, eight, for school supplies.

Whilst the royal children are still enjoying their summer holidays and are still believed to have a trip to Balmoral on the cards, they will soon be heading back to Lambrook School.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis started at the school last year after the Prince and Princess of Wales moved to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

And Princess Kate will be making sure they’re all properly equipped for the new school year.

But in 2018, when she was out shopping for new shoes for George and Charlotte in London, Princess Kate made a common mistake.

The family had visited the Peter Jones department store but the Princess of Wales forgot to take socks for her two eldest children to wear when they were trying on their new shoes.

The youngsters were wearing their summer sandals when they went to pick out their new shoes, a source told Hello!.

So like many mums before her, Princess Kate had to borrow socks from the store so she could make sure she was buying them in the correct sizes.

Lambrook is a day and boarding school for boys and girls aged from three to 13 years. The royal children are day pupils for now.

But Prince George could follow in the footsteps of dad Prince William when he leaves Lambrook in a few years and join Eton.

The 10-year-old was spotted earlier this summer visiting his dad’s former school, where fees cost £46,000 a year.

According to reports, Princess Kate was seen talking to two employees of the historic school while wearing an elegant aquamarine dress and ballet pumps.
