Princess Kate is planning 'soft return' at one big event after abdominal surgery

Princess Kate could make a grand royal return within weeks as she is tipped to make an appearance at a major royal event.

Kensington Palace aides are finalising plans for the Princess of Wales to make a “soft return” to public life with an appearance at church on Easter Sunday with the rest of the Firm, The Times reports.

A team has reportedly been tasked with ensuring that Kate’s return to official duties goes as smoothly as possible, after a whirlwind few months for Kate, 42, and the rest of the Royal Family.

The annual Easter matins service takes place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

It is thought the soft return will be followed by a break with her children during the school holidays, before she then returns to a fuller schedule once they return to Lambrook School on April 17.
