Princess Kate absolutely stunning at Rugby World Cup in white and £1,500 diamond necklace

Kate, Princess of Wales, who is Patron of the Rugby Football Union and the Rugby Football League, was delighted as England won the first game in the Rugby World Cup.

For her solo visit at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, France, the royal opted for an elegant white suit. She wore her Alexander McQueen two-piece suit, which she combined with white pumps and a Massimo Dutti clutch.

The trousers and blazer are from McQueen’s Resort 2020 collection and are currently sold out but fashion brand Zara has very similar, and more affordable, white suits, as well as John Lewis, or Marks and Spencer.

For jewellery, Kate opted for her diamond earrings and necklace from Mappin & Webb retailing for £1,500.

The Empress 18ct White Gold 0.40cttw Diamond Pendant, from designer Mappin & Webb, is a delicate diamond necklace that comes with matching earrings, the Empress 18ct White Gold 0.17cttw Diamond Drop Earrings, with a price tag of £1,750.

Kate was seated next to World Rugby Chairman Bill Beaumont and after the match, she met the team in their locker room to congratulate them.
