During their engagement interview in early 2018, they admitted that their encounter was “love at first sight”.
The princess told the BBC after their engagement: “We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24 and fell in love.
“We have the same passions and drive for life.”
Eugenie later revealed that their first date took place in London a few weeks later, at Osteria Basilico.
