Princess Anne to visit Canada for second time this month representing the Firm

While there in May Queen Elizabeth’s only daughter attended a celebration of 175 years of Canada’s oldest military regiment, the 8th Canadian Hussars.

Anne dressed appropriately and stylishly for the 8th Canadian Hussars Exercise of the Freedom of the City of Moncton Parade as she wore Hussars’ red and blue colours.

She wore a majestic ‘Nehru’ Coat from Shibumi Style in ‘Venetian Red’ embroidered with an oriental design, with a bright blue dress underneath.

Despite being in her 70s the Princess is still one of the hardest working members of the Firm, having taken part in the most royal engagements last year.

Charles bought the house in 2006 and enjoys spending a few days there each year on his own.

Whenever His Majesty is not in residence the property is rented out to the public, boasting seven double bedrooms with ensuites, a dining room, a sitting room and a kitchen.

Charles said of the country in 2020: “I have come to know and love so much about Romania. There is so much more I long to explore.”

His links to the Eastern European country go back hundreds of years, as he is said to be able to trace his lineage back to Vlad the Impaler.

While the King is in Romania he will miss his estranged son Prince Harry being in the UK as he returns for his court case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN).

It had been expected that he would make an appearance in court today, however to the judge’s “surprise” Harry will not attend until Tuesday.

He is then due to face cross-examination from MGN’s barrister over his claim that the group gained information about him through phone hacking, so-called “blagging” or gaining information by deception and hiring private investigators.

MGN is contesting the claims and has either denied or not admitted each of them.
