Prince William's tell tale signs he's 'suppressing anger' during royal visit with Kate

Prince William appeared to be showing signs of “surpressed anger” during yesterday’s appearance at Windsor Castle, a body language expert has claimed.

The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel for a meeting at Windsor Castle. It was their first public appearance since Omid Scobie’s explosive new book Endgame was released on Tuesday. Kate was seen kissing and huggest her guests, before they all posed for a picture, during the first day of the Swedish royal couple’s visit to the UK.

Body language expert Judi James suggested the Princess of Wales was channelling Queen Elizabeth in her appearance. She added the royal showed “no signs” that her royal status or authority had been “compromised” but William appeared to be showing signs of tension.

She told the Mirror: “Kate’s body language here suggests she has inherited the late Queen’s skill of responding to external pressures with displays of stoicism. Kate seems to have plundered her muscle memory to produce a standard, pitch-perfect smile and elegant stance.”

The expert added that both the royals drop “clues” about their “emotional equilibrium” that suggest “mild disturbances”.

She explained: “There are very small clues to suggest any mild disturbances to her and William’s emotional equilibrium here. While William’s head is tilted into the pose as they line up with the Swedish royals, Kate’s is tilted slightly out of it. Her mouth smile is immaculate but it doesn’t quite reach the eyes as emphatically as usual. William poses like a happy, upbeat host but his very wide smile seems to bear slightly clenched teeth, which can be a sign of suppressed anger or tension.”

But James claimed that despite these mild disturbances, Kate showed no signs that her “royal status or authority” have been compromised in any way.

She stated: “There are no signs that Kate feels her royal status or authority has in any way been compromised though. She instigates the fond greeting ritual with Victoria, leaning forward with a smile and placing her hands on Victoria’s upper arms in a gesture of confidence.

“William looks genuinely delighted to greet his Swedish counterpart, leaning back to chat in a relaxed and friendly way during a partial hug, with rounded cheeks and puckering around his smile suggesting he is overjoyed to see her.”

It comes after Omid Scobie’s Endgame unleashed a series of bombshell claims against the Royal Family.

The book portrays Prince William as “hot-headed” with a temper, while it also suggests there is rivalry between King Charles and the heir to the throne due to their “different opinions and approaches” to monarchy.

Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales is dubbed “Katie Keen” and is also described to be “cold and vacant” who had ignored Meghan Markle’s “cry for help”.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, nor any members of the Royal Family, have not responded to any of the claims.
