Prince William's subtle hint that he's 'yearning for privacy' during farm trip with Kate

Prince William revealed a subtle hint that he’s “yearning for privacy” during his outing with Princess Kate on the weekend, an expert has claimed.

The Princess of Wales, who has been recovering from abdominal surgery since January, was spotted for the first time since Christmas Day on Saturday.

The royal couple, pictured without their three children, visited a farm shop close to their home in Windsor on March 16.

Although the mother-of-three appeared “happy and healthy” during the outing, body language expert Judi James suggested that William looked like he was seeking “privacy”.

Ms James said that she believes this due to William’s attempt to keep his “head down” and by wearing a cap.

Speaking to the Mirror, she added: “While William does seem to be yearning for privacy here, with his cap brim pulled over his face and his head down.”

She added that, unlike her husband, Kate appears as though she wants to be seen.

Ms James added: “Kate walks in a way to attract attention, stepping ahead of her husband and wearing a wide, beaming smile as she walks.

“Her hair streams behind her and her walk itself, thankfully and reassuringly, shows no signs of anything but energy and good health. This is no frail ‘first steps outside’ kind of body language, Kate looks happy and confident here and keen to take the lead and to be noticed.”

In a statement released back in January, Kensington Palace said that Kate would return to royal duties “after Easter”.

It has since been reported that Kate could make a return on April 17 – after Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis return to school after the Easter break.
